Drink Yourself Beautiful

Introduction

Drink Yourself Beautiful! is a guide to healthy, natural and tasty drinks that will make you look and feel great. We take the mystery out of what can be a confusing subject by breaking it down into simple categories: water, teas and smoothies.

Water

  • Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

  • Drink water before, during and after exercise.

  • Drinking more water helps your body remove toxins from the body. It also helps you lose weight by making you feel fuller for longer periods of time so that you eat less food overall.

Green tea

Green tea is a powerful beverage, and it can do wonders for your health. Green tea contains antioxidants that are good for you, like catechins and polyphenols. These help reduce blood pressure and prevent cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease and other conditions. They also have been shown to lower cholesterol levels in research studies on rats!

Herbal teas

Herbal teas are a great way to get your daily dose of antioxidants. They're also good for your digestive system, helping you lose weight and reduce stress and anxiety. Herbal teas can also lower blood pressure, which is especially important if you have high blood pressure or are at risk for stroke or heart disease.

Fruit juices

There is no denying that fruit juices are good for you. They contain vitamins, minerals and fiber, but they also have high levels of sugar so don't drink too much. Fruit juice cocktails are a great alternative to alcohol because they contain less calories than beer or wine - so if you're watching your weight or just want something healthier than vodka soda then try one!

Dairy products (low-fat)

Low-fat dairy products are good for you. Milk, cheese and yoghurt are all examples of low-fat dairy products that can help boost your health and make your skin look beautiful.

However, fatty dairy products such as cream or butter should be limited in your diet because they contain high levels of saturated fat which raises cholesterol levels in the blood stream (this is not good for the body).

Smoothies

Smoothies are a great way to get your body the nutrients it needs. Smoothies are also a good way to get more fruit and vegetables into your diet. They're easy to make and can be made with any fruit or vegetable, so they're perfect if you want something sweet but don't want to eat sugar-filled treats.

Drink water, fruit juices and green tea.

To keep your skin looking its best, drink plenty of water, fruit juices and green tea. The key is to drink enough to keep your body hydrated but not so much that it leaves you feeling bloated or uncomfortable.

Herbal teas are also good for your skin as they contain antioxidants which help protect against damage from free radicals (the breakdown products of food). Herbal teas can be quite tasty too!

Dairy products such as milk and yoghurt are okay but only if they're low fat; full fat versions will clog up the pores on your face, causing spots! However if you are intolerant to lactose then avoid all dairy products completely - no matter how tempting that cheese board looks at Christmas dinner time!

Conclusion

There you have it, folks! A brief overview of some of the most popular beverages for beauty. Remember, there's no need to give up your favorite comfort drinks when you're trying to improve your health and beauty. Just make sure they're made from natural ingredients and not too much sugar/fatty dairy (so if you're like me and enjoy hot chocolate with whipped cream on top, maybe consider switching over to soy milk).
